BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

       Section 1. Not later than one year after the effective date 4
of this section, the State Board of Education shall make 5
recommendations to the General Assembly for performance standards 6
for dropout prevention and recovery programs operated by school 7
districts.8
