| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Christopher D. Becker on being named the 2014 Outstanding Assistant Prosecutor of the Year by the Ohio Prosecuting Attorneys Association; and |
| WHEREAS, This prestigious distinction is a fitting tribute to Chris Becker for the exemplary efforts he has displayed as the first assistant prosecutor for Trumbull County, trying numerous difficult criminal cases. Previously working for the Jefferson County Prosecutor's Office for ten years, he joined the staff of the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office in 2000, and his unwavering commitment to the highest ideals of American jurisprudence is worthy of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, Chris Becker is truly a remarkable individual, for he has combined civic concern and dedication with selfless initiative to become a dynamic force in the State of Ohio. Through his decisive leadership, he has distinguished himself as a conscientious and hard-working Ohioan, and we are certain that he will continue to demonstrate the same unwavering devotion to service and achievement for which he has become known; and |
| WHEREAS, Willingly giving of his time, energy, and abilities far beyond what was required or expected, Chris Becker has striven to better the world around him, and he has earned the respect and esteem of many. We are proud to note that it is through the unceasing endeavors of people such as he that Ohio has gained a reputation as a state whose residents are responsive to the needs of their communities; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Christopher D. Becker on his recent accolade and salute him as one of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further |
