| Honoring David Robinson on being named the 2013 ODRC Correction Officer of the Year. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to David Robinson on being presented with the 2013 Correction Officer of the Year Award by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction; and |
| WHEREAS, Selection for this distinction is an honor of which David Robinson can be proud, for he was chosen for his diligence, enthusiasm, and sterling work ethic, as well as for his unwavering dedication to excellence. A correction officer at the Grafton Correctional Institution, he has served as a coach with the new officer training program, a mentor, and a member of the Special Response Team and the Security Threat Group, Crisis Responder, Northeast Regional Training, Violence Reduction Steering, and Back to Basics committees, and he has striven to fulfill his myriad goals in a competent and responsible manner. We applaud him on his tremendous work; and |
| WHEREAS, David Robinson's efforts have helped to guarantee a high level of success for all projects with which he has been involved and have earned him numerous accolades. It is through the commitment of professionals such as he that the State of Ohio continues to prosper and remains responsive to the needs of its communities; and |
| WHEREAS, The exemplary manner in which David Robinson has fulfilled his myriad responsibilities has gained him the appreciation of his peers and the gratitude of those whom he has so capably served. He is certainly to be commended for his outstanding performance on the job and his commitment to carrying out his assignments; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate David Robinson as the 2013 ODRC Correction Officer of the Year and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to David Robinson. |
