A BILL

To enact sections 6103.18 and 6117.35 of the Revised

Code to require interest income from county water

and sewer district assessments and interest on

assessments to be used only for water and sewer

district purposes and to prohibit counties from

general fund.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That sections 6103.18 and 6117.35 of the Revised	8
Code be enacted to read as follows:	9

Sec. 6103.18.  All interest income on moneys collected from	10
assessments and from interest on assessments under Chapter 6103.	11
of the Revised Code shall be applied to the purposes for which the	12
assessments have been made. No interest income on such assessment	13
and interest collections shall be deposited in the county general	14
fund.	15

Sec. 6117.35.  All interest income on moneys collected from	16
assessments and from interest on assessments under Chapter 6117.	17
of the Revised Code shall be applied to the purposes for which the	18
assessments have been made. No interest income on such assessment	19
and interest collections shall be deposited in the county general	20
fund.	21
