GALLIVAN -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Transportation -- commit- tee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recom- mitted to said committee -- committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee AN ACT to amend the highway law, in relation to designating a portion of the state highway system in the town of Aurora as the "Specialist Dale Sadowski Memorial Bridge" The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The highway law is amended by adding a new section 344-n to 2 read as follows: 3 § 344-n. Portion of the state highway system to be designated as the 4 "Specialist Dale Sadowski Memorial Bridge". The bridge designated as 5 bridge number 1054581 which carries state route 400 over state route 16 6 in the town of Aurora, county of Erie, shall be designated and known as 7 the "Specialist Dale Sadowski Memorial Bridge". 8 § 2. The commissioner of transportation shall provide for the instal- 9 lation and maintenance of adequate signing of the state highway system 10 as designated pursuant to section one of this act. However, to avoid 11 confusion and to limit any possible disruption of commerce, the desig- 12 nation called for pursuant to section one of this act shall be one of 13 ceremonial nature and the official name of such bridge shall not be 14 changed as a result of this act. 15 § 3.
