       Introduced  by  Sen.  LITTLE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
         printed to be  committed  to  the  Committee  on  Rules  --  committee
         discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted
         to said committee
       AN ACT to amend the highway law, in relation to designating a portion of
         the state highway system as the "Adirondack Coast Wine Trail"
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. The section heading of section 343-k of the highway law, as
    2  amended by chapter 215 of the laws  of  2007,  is  amended  to  read  as
    3  follows:
    4    Portions of the state highway system to be designated as the "Chautau-
    5  qua  Wine  Trail",  the "Canandaigua Wine Trail", the "Cayuga Wine Trail
    6  East", the "Cayuga Wine Trail West", the "Seneca Lake Wine Trail  East",
    7  the  "Seneca  Lake  Wine  Trail  West", the "Keuka Lake Wine Trail", the
    8  "Shawangunk Wine Trail", the "Dutchess Wine Trail", the "North Fork Wine
    9  Trail", the "Hamptons Wine Trail", the "Long Island  Wine  Region",  the
   10  "Niagara  Escarpment  Wine  Trail",  the "Niagara Wine Trail" [and], the
   11  "Lake Ontario Wine Trail" AND THE "ADIRONDACK COAST WINE TRAIL".
   12    S 2. Section 343-k of the highway law, as added by chapter 490 of  the
   13  laws  of  1999,  is  amended  by  adding  a new subdivision 9 to read as
   14  follows:
   15    9. ALL THAT PORTION OF THE STATE  HIGHWAY  SYSTEM  CONSTITUTING  STATE
   16  ROUTE  22-B  FROM EXIT 35 OF INTERSTATE ROUTE 87 IN THE TOWN OF PERU AND
   17  CONTINUING IN A GENERALLY NORTHERLY DIRECTION ON STATE ROUTE 22-B TO ITS
   18  INTERSECTION WITH STATE ROUTE 190 IN THE TOWN  OF  SCHUYLER  FALLS,  AND
   19  CONTINUING  NORTHERLY  ON STATE ROUTE 190 TO ITS INTERSECTION WITH STATE
   20  ROUTE 374 IN THE TOWN OF PLATTSBURGH, AND CONTINUING EASTERLY  ON  STATE
   21  ROUTE 374 TO ITS INTERSECTION WITH STATE ROUTE 22 IN THE TOWN OF PLATTS-
   22  BURGH,  AND  CONTINUING  NORTHERLY ON STATE ROUTE 22 TO ITS INTERSECTION
   23  WITH STATE ROUTE 11 IN THE TOWN OF MOOERS, AND  CONTINUING  EASTERLY  ON
   24  STATE  ROUTE  11  TO  ITS INTERSECTION WITH STATE ROUTE 9 IN THE TOWN OF
   25  CHAMPLAIN, AND CONTINUING SOUTHERLY ON STATE ROUTE 9 TO ITS INTERSECTION
   26  WITH STATE ROUTE 3 IN THE CITY OF PLATTSBURGH, AND  CONTINUING  WESTERLY
        EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
                             [ ] is old law to be omitted.

    1  ON  STATE  ROUTE  3  TO  EXIT  37  OF INTERSTATE ROUTE 87 IN THE TOWN OF
    2  PLATTSBURGH SHALL BE DESIGNATED AND KNOWN AS THE "ADIRONDACK COAST  WINE
    3  TRAIL".
    4    S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
