       Introduced  by Sen. HAMILTON -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
         printed to be committed to the Committee on Education
       AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to legislation pertaining
         to security in school districts statewide
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1. Section 2801-a of the education law is amended by adding a
    2  new subdivision 10 to read as follow:
    3    10. ANY LEGISLATION PERTAINING TO SECURITY IN SCHOOL  DISTRICTS  SHALL
    4  NOT  BE  LIMITED  TO  ANY INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP OF SCHOOLS BUT SHALL APPLY
    5  UNIVERSALLY THROUGHOUT THE STATE.
    6    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
