        AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation  to  authorizing  certain
          school  districts in the county of Suffolk to use school buses for the
          transportation of school personnel in certain cases
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1.  Section  1502 of the education law is amended by adding a
     2  new subdivision 6 to read as follows:
     3    6. Notwithstanding any  provision  of  law  to  the  contrary,  school
     4  districts  wholly  or partially within the towns of Southampton and East
     5  Hampton in the county of Suffolk, shall be authorized to permit the  use
     6  of  school  buses  to  transport  teachers and other school personnel in
     7  connection with their  school  district  employment,  between  the  Long
     8  Island  Rail  Road stations in Southampton, Bridgehampton, East Hampton,
     9  Amagansett, and Montauk and school district facilities.
    10    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
