          printed to be committed to the Committee on Local Government

        AN ACT authorizing the town board  of  the  town  of  Islip,  county  of
          Suffolk, to transfer funds from the Kismet street improvement district
          to  a  special  fund  for the collection and removal of trash from the
          hamlet of Kismet

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Notwithstanding any contrary provision of the town law, the
     2  general  municipal  law,  or any other provision of law to the contrary,
     3  the town board of the town  of  Islip,  county  of  Suffolk,  is  hereby
     4  authorized, upon approval of such town board, to transfer funds from the
     5  Kismet  street improvement district to a special fund for the collection
     6  and removal of garbage and solid waste from the hamlet of Kismet in  the
     7  town of Islip, county of Suffolk.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
