AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to hunt-
ing in Wayne county; and to amend chapter 159 of the laws of 2013,
amending the environmental conservation law relating to authorizing
hunting in the county of Wayne, in relation to making such provisions
permanent
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
1 Section 1. Paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of the
2 environmental conservation law is amended by adding a new item (j) to
3 read as follows:
4 (J) THE COUNTY OF DEER AND BEAR, THE FIRST PISTOL, SHOTGUN,
5 WAYNE SATURDAY AFTER NOVEMBER CROSSBOW, MUZZLE
6 15 THROUGH FIRST SUNDAY LOADING FIREARM,
7 AFTER DECEMBER 7 RIFLE OR LONG BOW ONLY
8 S 2. Section 4 of chapter 159 of the laws of 2013, amending the envi-
9 ronmental conservation law relating to authorizing hunting in the county
10 of Wayne, is amended to read as follows:
11 S 4. This act shall take effect immediately, provided that:
12 a. the amendments to paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907
13 of the environmental conservation law made by section one of this act
14 shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such paragraph
15 pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as amended;
EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
[ ] is old law to be omitted.

1 b. the amendments to item (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of
2 section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section
3 two of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such
4 item and shall expire and be deemed repealed therewith, when upon such
5 date the provision of section three of this act shall take effect; AND
6 c. the amendments to item (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of
7 section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section
8 three of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of
9 such paragraph and shall expire and be deemed repealed therewith[; and
10 d. nothing contained in this act shall be construed so as to extend
11 the provisions of this act beyond October 1, 2015, when upon such date
12 this act shall expire and the provisions contained herein shall be
13 deemed repealed].
14 S 3. Item (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of
15 the environmental conservation law, as amended by section 15 of part EE
16 of chapter 55 of the laws of 2014, is amended to read as follows:
17 (f) Southern tier, Deer and bear, first Pistol, shotgun,
18 central and Western Monday after November crossbow,
19 region, except those 15 through first muzzle loading
20 counties or portions Tuesday after firearm or long
21 thereof listed in December 7 bow only
22 item (i) OR (J)
23 of this paragraph
24 S 4. This act shall take effect immediately, provided, however, that
25 sections one and three of this act shall take effect upon the expiration
26 and reversion of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of the
27 environmental conservation law, as provided in section 13 of chapter 600
28 of the laws of 1993, as amended.
