        Introduced  by  Sen.  DIAZ  --  read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Education
        AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation  to  prohibiting  certain
          school  personnel  from  school  grounds  for  allegations  of  sexual
          offenses
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1.  The education law is amended by adding a new section 1134
     2  to read as follows:
     3    § 1134. School personnel prohibited from entering. Notwithstanding any
     4  provisions of law to the contrary, school districts and/or school admin-
     5  istrators in either a public or private school shall prohibit  teachers,
     6  administrators  or  any other employee from entering a classroom, school
     7  building and/or school grounds if such teacher, administrator, or  other
     8  employee  has been charged with any of the sexual offenses under article
     9  one hundred thirty of the penal  law  until  the  adjudication  of  such
    10  matter.
    11    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
