        Introduced by Sen. GOUNARDES -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed  to  be  committed  to the Committee on Judiciary -- committee
          discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted
          to said committee

        AN ACT relating to establishing Angelina Liu as the  genetic  child  and
          distributee  of  Wenjian  Liu  for purposes of the estates, powers and
          trusts law

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1.  Notwithstanding  any  provisions  of section 4-1.3 of the
     2  estates, powers and trusts law to the contrary, Angelina  Liu,  daughter
     3  of Peixa Xia Chen and residing at 1479 East 79th Street in Brooklyn, New
     4  York,  11236,  shall be considered the genetic child of Wenjian Liu, for
     5  the purposes of article four of such law. Angelina Liu shall be  consid-
     6  ered  a  distributee  of  Wenjian Liu and included in any disposition of
     7  property to persons described in any instrument as the issue,  children,
     8  descendants,  heirs,  heirs at law, next of kin, distributees (or by any
     9  like import) of Wenjian Liu.
    10    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and  shall  be  deemed  to
    11  have been in full force and effect on or after December 14, 2014.
