          when printed to be committed to the Committee  on  Investigations  and

        AN  ACT to amend the tax law, in relation to the allocation and distrib-
          ution of taxes owed in Genesee county
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1.  The  tax law is amended by adding a new section 1262-u to
     2  read as follows:
     3    § 1262-u. Allocation and distribution of certain  net  collections  in
     4  Genesee county. If the county of Genesee enters into an agreement pursu-
     5  ant  to  the  authority  of  subdivision  (c)  of section twelve hundred
     6  sixty-two of this part with the city of Batavia to allocate and distrib-
     7  ute a portion of net collections due the county from its  taxes  imposed
     8  pursuant  to  the authority of subdivision (a) of section twelve hundred
     9  ten of this article, the agreement may be for a term not exceeding forty
    10  years and the state comptroller  shall  not  disapprove  such  agreement
    11  based  on  the  length  of  its  term, provided that such term shall not
    12  exceed forty years.
    13    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
