       AN ACT in relation to legalizing, validating, ratifying and confirming a
         transportation contract of the Fairport central school district
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1. All the acts done and proceedings heretofore had and taken
    2  or caused to be had and taken by the Fairport  central  school  district
    3  and  by all officers, employees or agents of such school district relat-
    4  ing to or in connection with a transportation  contract  413805  of  the
    5  2013-2014 school year in the amount of $253,900, and all acts incidental
    6  thereto   are  hereby  legalized,  validated,  ratified  and  confirmed,
    7  notwithstanding any failure to comply with the contract award, approval,
    8  and filing provisions of the education law, the general municipal law or
    9  any other law or any other  statutory  authority,  rule  or  regulation,
   10  other than those filing provisions defined in paragraph a of subdivision
   11  5  of  section  3604  of the education law, in relation to any omission,
   12  error, defect, irregularity or illegality in  such  proceeding  had  and
   13  taken.
   14    S  2.  The  department of education is hereby directed to consider the
   15  aforementioned contract for transportation aid as valid and proper obli-
   16  gations of the Fairport central school district.
   17    S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
