       Introduced  by Sen. STAVISKY -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
         printed to be committed to the Committee on Judiciary
       AN ACT to amend the surrogate's court procedure act, in relation to  the
         compensation of the public administrators
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Subdivision 1 of section  1105  of  the  surrogate's  court
    2  procedure act, as amended by chapter 751 of the laws of 2004, is amended
    3  to read as follows:
    4    1.  The  public  administrators of the counties comprising the city of
    5  New York shall receive at  least  [two-thirds]  NINETY  PERCENT  of  the
    6  amount paid to the judges of the surrogate's court of the counties with-
    7  in the city of New York.
    8    S  2.  This  act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall
    9  have become a law.
