STEWART-COUSINS -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Investigations and Government Operations AN ACT to amend chapter 504 of the laws of 2016, amending the tax law relating to authorizing the town of Greenburgh to adopt a local law to impose a hotel/motel occupancy tax for hotels not located in a village; authorizing specified villages in the towns of Greenburgh and Mount Pleasant to adopt local laws to impose a hotel/motel occupancy tax in such villages, in relation to extending the effectiveness ther- eof The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 504 of the laws of 2016, amending the 2 tax law relating to authorizing the town of Greenburgh to adopt a local 3 law to impose a hotel/motel occupancy tax for hotels not located in a 4 village; authorizing specified villages in the towns of Greenburgh and 5 Mount Pleasant to adopt local laws to impose a hotel/motel occupancy tax 6 in such villages, is amended to read as follows: 7 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately, and shall expire and be 8 deemed repealed September 1, [2019] 2022. 9 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
