          read once and referred to the Committee on Environmental Conservation
        AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation  to  the
          powers and duties of the Albany Pine Bush commission
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Section 46-0107 of the environmental  conservation  law  is
     2  amended by adding a new subdivision 6 to read as follows:
     3    6.  Land  owned by the commission shall be dedicated to be part of the
     4  preserve upon acquisition by the commission.
     5    § 2. Section 46-0109 of the environmental conservation law is  amended
     6  by adding a new subdivision 19 to read as follows:
     7    19.  To acquire real property as may be necessary for the purposes and
     8  functions of the commission. Such real property may be acquired  in  the
     9  name  of the commission by purchase, exchange, gift, devise, bequest, or
    10  by other legal means.
    11    § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
