Resolved (if the Senate concur), That article 11 of the 2 constitution be amended by adding a new section 4 to read as follows: 3 S 4. ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF OF PRIMARY, ELEMENTARY, JUNIOR HIGH AND 4 SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS HAVE THE INALIENABLE RIGHT TO ATTEND SCHOOLS WHICH 5 ARE SAFE, SECURE AND PEACEFUL. 6 S 2. Resolved (if the Senate concur), That the foregoing amendment be 7 referred to the first regular legislative session convening after the 8 next succeeding general election of members of the assembly, and, in 9 conformity with section 1 of article 19 of the constitution, be 10 published for 3 months previous to the time of such election.
