Fitzpatrick) -- read once and referred to the Committee on Local Governments -- committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee -- again reported from said committee with amendments, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee AN ACT to amend chapter 397 of the laws of 1996, relating to authorizing the town of Islip to lease certain lands to a business corporation, in relation to the lease term The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 1 of chapter 397 of the laws of 1996, relating to 2 authorizing the town of Islip to lease certain lands to a business 3 corporation, is amended by adding a new subdivision (a-1) to read as 4 follows: 5 (a-1) The town of Islip, in the county of Suffolk, is hereby author- 6 ized and empowered to extend the terms of a lease between the town and a 7 business corporation dated July 30, 1996 that was authorized by chapter 8 397 of the laws of 1996 on the lands described in chapter 397 of the 9 laws of 1996 for up to ten years in addition to the ten-year extension 10 authorized under subdivision (a) of this section. 11 § 2.
