        AN ACT to amend the general business law, in relation to the advertising
          of electronic cigarettes

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. The general business law is amended by adding a new section
     2  399-ggg to read as follows:
     3    § 399-ggg. Advertisement of electronic  cigarettes.  No  advertisement
     4  for  such  products  shall  be deemed to place such products as having a
     5  positive impact on a person's life or well-being.
     6    § 2. The act shall take effect immediately.
