        AN ACT to amend the judiciary law, in relation to designating the  Sara-
          toga  county supreme court law library as the "Thomas D. Nolan Jr. Law
          Library at Ballston Spa"

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1.    The  Saratoga county supreme court law library shall be
     2  designated and known as the "Thomas D. Nolan Jr. Law Library at Ballston
     3  Spa".
     4    § 2. Section 813 of the judiciary law, as amended by  chapter  405  of
     5  the laws of 2004, is amended to read as follows:
     6    §  813.  Court  law  libraries.  Each county of the state shall have a
     7  court law library which shall be governed as provided by  section  eight
     8  hundred  fourteen  of  this article. Such libraries shall be open to the
     9  public, however, the chief administrator of the courts may issue  guide-
    10  lines for the use and operation of such libraries. All supreme court and
    11  county  court  libraries  established  as  of the effective date of this
    12  section are continued as court law libraries, including the following as
    13  they have been named:
    14    JOSEPH F. BARNARD MEMORIAL LIBRARY AT POUGHKEEPSIE;
    15    DAVID L. FOLLETT MEMORIAL LIBRARY AT NORWICH;
    16    HAMILTON ODELL LIBRARY AT MONTICELLO;
    17    EMORY A. CHASE MEMORIAL LIBRARY AT CATSKILL;
    18    FRANCIS BERGAN LAW LIBRARY AT ALBANY;
    19    LOUIS H. FOLMER LAW LIBRARY AT CORTLAND;
    20    JOSEPH F. EGAN MEMORIAL SUPREME COURT LAW LIBRARY AT SCHENECTADY;
    21    ERNEST N. WARREN LAW LIBRARY AT ITHACA;
    22    F. WALTER BLISS SUPREME COURT LIBRARY AT SCHOHARIE;
    23    JOSEPH P. MOLINARI SUPREME COURT LIBRARY AT COOPERSTOWN;
    24    COURT OF APPEALS LIBRARY AT SYRACUSE;
