        AN  ACT  to  amend  the  cannabis  law,  in relation to the THC level of
          certain products

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1.  Section 84 of the cannabis law is amended by adding a new
     2  subdivision 1-a to read as follows:
     3    1-a. No distributor shall sell, or agree to sell or deliver:  (a)  any
     4  cannabis  flower with a THC content of more than fifteen percent; or (b)
     5  any cannabis-infused product or concentrated cannabis with a THC content
     6  of more than sixty percent.
     7    § 2. Section 125 of the cannabis law is amended by adding a new subdi-
     8  vision 1-a to read as follows:
     9    1-a. No person shall sell: (a) any cannabis flower  which  contains  a
    10  THC  content  of  more than fifteen percent; or (b) any cannabis-infused
    11  product or concentrated cannabis which contains a THC  content  of  more
    12  than sixty percent.
    13    §  3.  This  act shall take effect immediately. Effective immediately,
    14  the addition, amendment and/or repeal of any rule or  regulation  neces-
    15  sary  for  the  implementation  of  this  act  on its effective date are
    16  authorized to be made and completed on or before such effective date.
