          Committee on Real Property Taxation

        AN ACT to amend the real property tax law, in relation to subjecting the
          Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve and  Planting  Fields  Arboretum
          State Historic Park to taxation for all purposes

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Section 532 of the real property  tax  law  is  amended  by
     2  adding two new subdivisions (l) and (m) to read as follows:
     3    (l)  All  state  lands  located  within the boundaries of the Caumsett
     4  State Historic Park Preserve in the county of Suffolk, exclusive of  the
     5  improvements thereon.
     6    (m)  All  state lands located within the boundaries of Planting Fields
     7  Arboretum State Historic Park in the county of Nassau, exclusive of  the
     8  improvements thereon.
     9    §  2. This act shall take effect on the first of April next succeeding
    10  the date on which it shall have become a law.
