        AN ACT to amend the  public  health  law,  in  relation  to  information
          concerning dense breasts
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Subdivision 1 of section 207 of the public  health  law  is
     2  amended by adding a new paragraph (m) to read as follows:
     3    (m)  The  department  shall  conduct such a program relating to breast
     4  density, which shall include, but not be limited to, educational  infor-
     5  mation regarding the meaning and potential health consequences of having
     6  dense  breast  tissue, the impact of dense breast tissue on mammographic
     7  screening for breast cancer and  supplemental  breast  cancer  screening
     8  techniques,  and  provide access to other educational websites regarding
     9  dense breast tissue and literature regarding risk factors.
    10    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
