       AN  ACT  to  amend  the  environmental  conservation law, in relation to
         prohibiting the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in the course of hunt-
         ing
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1.  Section  11-0103 of the environmental conservation law is
    2  amended by adding a new subdivision 33 to read as follows:
    3    33. "UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE" MEANS  ANY  AIRCRAFT  THAT  IS  OPERATED
    4  WITHOUT  THE  POSSIBILITY OF DIRECT HUMAN INTERVENTION FROM WITHIN OR ON
    5  THE AIRCRAFT.
    6    S 2. Section 11-0901 of the environmental conservation law is  amended
    7  by adding a new subdivision 2-a to read as follows:
    8    2-A. NO PERSON SHALL HUNT OR TAKE WILDLIFE WITH THE AID OF AN UNMANNED
    9  AERIAL VEHICLE.
   10    S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
