          tee on Environmental Conservation
        AN  ACT  to  amend  the  environmental  conservation law, in relation to
          providing a fishing license exemption for disabled persons that do not
          live in a group home
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1.  Section  11-0707 of the environmental conservation law is
     2  amended by adding a new subdivision 3-a to read as follows:
     3    3-a.  Any person who is sixteen years of age or older and is  disabled
     4  as  defined  under  subdivision five of section two hundred eight of the
     5  social services law and does not live in a group home as  defined  under
     6  subdivision seventeen of section three hundred seventy-one of the social
     7  services  law  may take fish or frogs as if they held a fishing license,
     8  except that they may not take bait fish by net or trap.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
