        AN ACT in relation to legalizing, validating, ratifying  and  confirming
          certain transportation contracts of the Corning city school district

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. All the acts done and proceedings heretofore had and  taken
     2  or caused to be had and taken by the Corning city school district and by
     3  all officers, employees or agents of such school district relating to or
     4  in  connection  with  transportation contracts E414960, E414961, E414962
     5  and E414963 of the 2017-2018 school year, and all acts incidental hereto
     6  are hereby legalized, validated, ratified and confirmed, notwithstanding
     7  any failure to comply with  the  contract  award,  approval  and  filing
     8  provisions  of the education law, the general municipal law or any other
     9  law or any other statutory authority, rule  or  regulation,  other  than
    10  those  filing  provisions  defined  in  paragraph  a of subdivision 5 of
    11  section 3604 of the education law, in relation to any  omission,  error,
    12  defect, irregularity or illegality in such proceeding had and taken.
    13    §  2.  The  department of education is hereby directed to consider the
    14  aforementioned contract for transportation aid as valid and proper obli-
    15  gations of the Corning city school district.
    16    § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
