LOSQUADRO -- read once and referred to the Committee on Transportation AN ACT to amend the highway law, in relation to the north fork wine trail in the Long Island wine region THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. Subdivision 7 of section 343-k of the highway law, as 2 amended by chapter 432 of the laws of 2007, is amended to read as 3 follows: 4 7. The "Long Island Wine Region" shall include two trails which shall 5 be designated and known as the "North Fork Wine Trail" and the "Hamptons 6 Wine Trail". All that portion of the state highway system in the county 7 of Suffolk beginning at exit 71 of Interstate 495, thence generally 8 easterly along state route 24 to its intersection with county route 105, 9 thence generally northerly along county route 105 to its intersection 10 with state route 25, thence generally easterly along state route 25 to 11 the intersection of route 48 and route 25, THENCE EASTERLY ALONG STATE 12 ROUTE 25 TO ITS EASTERN TERMINUS and westerly along county route 48 13 (alternatively known as North road, Middle road, Sound avenue) from its 14 eastern terminus to its intersection with Edwards avenue, and thence 15 generally southerly along Edwards avenue to its intersection with inter- 16 state 495, shall be designated and known as the "North Fork Wine Trail". 17 All that portion of the state highway system in the county of Suffolk 18 beginning at the intersection of county route 105 and state route 24, 19 thence generally southeasterly along state route 24 to its intersection 20 with state route 27, thence generally easterly along state route 27 to 21 its intersection with state route 114, thence generally northerly along 22 state route 114 to its northern terminus shall be designated and known 23 as the "Hamptons Wine Trail". 24 S 2.
