       AN ACT to authorize the Bay Shore union free school district to transfer
         certain monies from reserve funds to the general fund for the  purpose
         of real property tax reduction
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, rule  or  regu-
    2  lation  to  the  contrary,  the  Bay Shore union free school district is
    3  authorized to transfer to the general fund of such school district,  for
    4  the  sole  purpose of real property tax reduction, all surplus monies in
    5  any reserve fund established by such school district.
    6    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
