        AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to requiring students  in
          grade twelve to take an annual hearing examination
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Section 905 of the education law is amended by adding a new
     2  subdivision 6 to read as follows:
     3    6. Any child entering or having entered twelfth grade or a  comparable
     4  age  level  special  education  program  with  an  unassigned grade, and
     5  including those children who are  homeschooled,  shall  take  an  annual
     6  examination for hearing.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
