        AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to the establishment of a
          home visitation program for elderly and  invalid  victims  of  violent
          crime
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Subdivision 9 of section  623  of  the  executive  law,  as
     2  amended  by  section 8 of part A-1 of chapter 56 of the laws of 2010, is
     3  amended to read as follows:
     4    9. To establish and maintain a special investigative unit to  expedite
     5  processing  of  claims  by  senior  citizens and special emergency situ-
     6  ations, and to promote, in consultation with the office for  the  aging,
     7  the  establishment  of a volunteer program of home visitation to elderly
     8  and invalid victims of violent crime.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
