        AN ACT to amend chapter 435 of the laws of 2011, amending  the  environ-
          mental  conservation law relating to prohibiting the taking of striped
          bass from the Hudson river for commercial purposes, in relation to the
          effectiveness thereof
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1. Section 2 of chapter 435 of the laws of 2011, amending the
     2  environmental conservation law relating to  prohibiting  the  taking  of
     3  striped  bass  from the Hudson river for commercial purposes, is amended
     4  to read as follows:
     5    § 2. This act shall take effect on the one hundred twentieth day after
     6  it shall have become a law; provided, however that the  amendments  made
     7  by  section one of this act shall expire and be deemed repealed April 1,
     8  [2015] 2022.  Effective immediately any rules and regulations  necessary
     9  for  the  timely implementation of this act on its effective date may be
    10  promulgated on or before such date.
    11    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately, and shall  be  deemed  to
    12  have been in full force and effect on and after April 1, 2015.
