       AN ACT to amend the public service law, in relation to  telephone  rates
         for not-for-profit corporations
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. The public service law is amended by adding a  new  section
    2  92-g to read as follows:
    3    S 92-G. TELECOMMUNICATIONS RATES FOR NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATIONS.  ANY
    4  CORPORATION  AS  DEFINED  UNDER  SUBPARAGRAPH  FIVE  OF PARAGRAPH (A) OF
    5  SECTION ONE HUNDRED TWO OF  THE  NOT-FOR-PROFIT  CORPORATION  LAW  SHALL
    6  RECEIVE  A  DISCOUNT OF FIFTY PERCENT ON THE RATE FILED BY ITS TELEPHONE
    7  OR TELEGRAPH CORPORATION PURSUANT TO SECTION NINETY-TWO OF THIS ARTICLE.
    8    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
