          Committee on Economic Development
        AN ACT to amend the general business law, in relation to  requiring  the
          lobby  or  entrance  of a licensed massage therapist office be clearly
          visible from the outside
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. The general business law is amended by adding a new article
     2  28-G to read as follows:
     3                                ARTICLE 28-G
     4                     LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST OFFICES
     5  Section 495. Licensed massage therapists; office requirements.
     6    §  495.  Licensed  massage therapists; office requirements. A premises
     7  used for the licensed practice of massage therapy, as defined in section
     8  seventy-eight hundred one of the education law, shall  keep  any  street
     9  facing  windows  in a lobby or entrance clear of material that obstructs
    10  the view from the outside.
    11    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
