        Introduced  by  M.  of  A. ROZIC, McMAHON, SANTABARBARA -- read once and
          referred to the Committee on Tourism, Parks, Arts and Sports  Develop-
          ment

        AN  ACT  to amend the general business law, in relation to including the
          promotion and expansion of cricket in the state of  New  York  to  the
          jurisdiction of the state athletic commission

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Section 1004 of the general business law, as added by chap-
     2  ter 32 of the laws of 2016, is amended to read as follows:
     3    § 1004. Jurisdiction of the commission. 1. The commission  shall  have
     4  and  is  hereby  vested with the sole direction, management, control and
     5  jurisdiction over: [1.] (a) all authorized combative sports;
     6    [2.] (b) all licenses or permits granted by the commission to any  and
     7  all persons or entities who participate in authorized combative sports;
     8    [3.] (c) all determinations regarding the authorization of amateur and
     9  professional sanctioning entities;
    10    [4.]  (d) all gyms, clubs, training camps and other organizations that
    11  maintain training facilities to prepare  persons  for  participation  in
    12  authorized professional combative sports;
    13    [5.]  (e)  the  promotion of professional wrestling exhibitions to the
    14  extent provided for in this article; and
    15    [6.] (f) all contracts directly related to the conduct  of  authorized
    16  professional combative sports in the state of New York.
    17    [7.]  (g)  All disclosures to the commission shall be deemed confiden-
    18  tial.
    19    2. The commission shall have and is hereby  vested  with  jurisdiction
    20  over  the promotion and expansion of the game of cricket in the state of
    21  New York.
    22    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
