        AN ACT requiring the  department  of  motor  vehicles  to  increase  the
          assigned point value for violations involving a railroad crossing
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1.  The  department  of  motor  vehicles  shall  increase  the
     2  assigned  point value from three points to four points for any violation
     3  involving a railroad crossing.
     4    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
