Provides money to local boards of education so that they may remove, replace, or reseal wood or wood products used in playgrounds that have been treated with chromated copper arsenate.

Provides that the education commissioner may make grants to school districts which have incurred costs in the removal, replacement or sealing of wood or wood products, which have been treated with chromated copper arsenate and were used in the construction of playgrounds on school property.
