Summary

AN ACT relating to education; creating the Program to Develop Leadership Skills for Public School Pupils; creating the Account for Leadership Skills in the State General Fund to provide grants of money on a competitive basis to schools to participate in the Program; requiring schools participating in the Program to make certain reports; requiring the State Board of Education to adopt regulations to carry out the Program; requiring the State Board and the Department of Education to post certain information relating to the Program on their respective Internet websites; requiring the Department to report on the effectiveness of the Program; making an appropriation; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
