SYNOPSIS

     Permits certain members of Senate to remotely attend and participate in September 29, 2022 meeting due to COVID-19 health concerns.

A Senate Resolution to permit, in accordance with R.S.52:1-1 and based on the continued State of Emergency declared by Executive Order 103, certain members of the Senate to remotely attend and participate in the meeting of the Senate scheduled for September 29, 2022 due to COVID-19 health concerns.

 

     Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.    In accordance with R.S.52:1-1 and based on the continued State of Emergency declared by Executive Order 103, any member may use electronic means to remotely attend and participate in the meeting of the Senate scheduled for today, September 29, 2022, due to COVID-19 health concerns, so long as the member is designated by the Senate President to do so, based on prior notice by the member to, and granting of permission by, the Senate President.

 

     2.    This resolution shall take effect immediately.

 

 

STATEMENT
