SYNOPSIS

     Prohibits mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 as condition of attending public K-12 schools.

An Act concerning student immunization requirements and supplementing Title 18A of the New Jersey Statutes.

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.    In no case shall the Commissioner of Health or any other entity of State government require immunization against SARS-CoV-2 as a condition of attendance at a public primary or secondary school.

 

     2.    This act shall take effect immediately.

 

 

STATEMENT

 

     This bill prohibits the Commissioner of Health and other State governmental entities from requiring immunization against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), as a condition of attendance at a public primary or secondary school.
