     Makes supplemental appropriation of $1 million to Flemington Borough in Hunterdon County for drinking water infrastructure.

A Supplement to the annual appropriations act for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, P.L.2022, c.   .

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.  In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.2022, c.   , the annual appropriations act for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, there is appropriated from the General Fund the following amount for the purpose specified:

 

42 DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

40 Community Development and Environmental Management

43 Science and Technical Programs

 

STATE AID

05-4840  Water Supply Management ................................. $1,000,000

                 Total appropriation,                                                               

                   Water Supply Management ............................. $1,000,000

State Aid:

         05    Borough of Flemington Sewer and Water Department   ($1,000,000)

 

     2.  This act shall take effect immediately.

 

 

STATEMENT

 

     This bill would appropriate $1 million from the General Fund to Flemington Borough in Hunterdon County to help pay for the costs of services or construction of municipal wells that provide drinking water to the borough.
