SYNOPSIS
Designates September as "Prostate Cancer Awareness Month."

An Act concerning Prostate Awareness Month and amending P.L.1995, J.R.5.
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. Section 1 of P.L.1995, J.R.5 (C.36:2-36) is amended to read as follows:
1. The month of [June] September in each year is designated as "Prostate Cancer Awareness Month" in the State of New Jersey, and the citizens of New Jersey are urged to observe the month with appropriate activities and programs.

2. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
This bill designates September as "Prostate Cancer Awareness Month." Under current law, the month of June in each year is designated as "Prostate Cancer Awareness Month" in New Jersey. This bill amends current law to move "Prostate Cancer Awareness Month" from June to September.
