STATEMENT
This bill requires that any motor vehicle driver's license, probationary license, non-driver identification card, or any other identification card issued by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (commission), is to allow a person who identifies as an undesignated non-binary gender individual to indicate "X" for sex, if applicable. The bill prohibits the commission from requiring a person to provide documentation for the indication. The bill also provides that changes to any driver's licenses or non-driver identification cards are to be subject to any fee already required by law.
