SYNOPSIS

     Requires Attorney General to establish educational and public information program concerning State and federal crimes of human trafficking; appropriates $75,000.

An Act concerning human trafficking and supplementing P.L.2013, c.51 (C.52:17B-237 et al.).

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.    The Attorney General shall establish an educational and public information program concerning the State and federal crimes of human trafficking.

 

     2.    There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of the Attorney General the amount of $75,000 to effectuate the purposes of this act.

 

     3.    This act shall take effect immediately.

 

 

STATEMENT

 

     This bill requires the Attorney General to establish an educational and public information program concerning human trafficking offenses under State and federal statutes.

      The bill appropriates $75,000 to the Office of the Attorney General for these purposes.
