STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty One
AN ACT repealing the prohibition on the sale of over-the-counter rape test kits.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Repeal. RSA 359-R, relative to the prohibition on the sale of over-the-counter rape test kits, is repealed.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

METHODOLOGY:
This bill repeals the prohibition on the sale of over-the-counter rape test kits. Repeal of RSA 359-R would also eliminate the associated violation offenses and any revenue from the $1,000 fines. There is no method to determine how many charges would be avoided as a result of the changes contained in this bill to determine the fiscal impact on expenditures. However, the entities impacted have provided the potential costs associated with these penalties below.
