STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fifteen
AN ACT relative to permits for water events.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Places of Assembly. Amend RSA 155:19 to read as follows:
155:19 Application; Issuance; Revocation. A permit shall be obtained from the licensing agency by the owner or operator of any place of assembly. Such permit shall be issued without charge for one year from date of issue and shall be revocable for cause. Application for permit shall be made to the licensing agency who may require building plans, showing type of construction, exits, aisles and seating arrangements, and details of decorations. An application for a permit for use of public waters of the state for an assembly including the sale of alcoholic beverages or the display of fireworks shall include a copy of the permit issued by the commissioner of safety under RSA 270-D:4. No permit shall be issued by the licensing agency until the provisions of this chapter have been complied with.
2 New Paragraphs; Permit for Water Events. Amend RSA 270-D:4 by inserting after paragraph IV the following new paragraphs:
V. Sale of alcoholic beverages.
VI. Display of fireworks.
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

FISCAL IMPACT:
The Legislative Budget Assistant has determined that this legislation, as introduced, has a total fiscal impact of less than $10,000 in each of the fiscal years 2015 through 2019.
