SENATE BILL 163
AN ACT relative to wholesale hospital-to-hospital laboratory and testing services.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fifteen
AN ACT relative to wholesale hospital-to-hospital laboratory and testing services.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
213:1 Department of Health and Human Services; Charges for Provider Services Under the Medical Assistance Program. Amend RSA 126-A:3, III(d) to read as follows:
(d) The commissioner may waive the application of RSA 126-A:3, III if the commissioner determines such action is necessary to ensure a continuum of care and service to persons served by community mental health centers, [or] to avert serious economic hardships to mental health centers, or to ensure that hospitals may contract for wholesale hospital-to-hospital laboratory and testing services.
213:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
