STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nineteen

 

AN ACT relative to reporting the taking of a turkey.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Wild Turkey; Online Reporting and Registration.  Amend RSA 209:12-a, I(c) to read as follows:

(c)  Specifying the methods for taking and registering wild turkeys which shall include a procedure for electronic and telephonic registration of any wild turkey taken.  The department shall develop an automated telephonic registration system, and an online form which the department shall make available on the department's website, requiring a hunter who takes a wild turkey to report his or her name, address, and hunting license number, sex of the turkey, and method and location of the taking.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
