STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Substantive Educational Content of an Adequate Education; Rules; Alternative Credit. Amend RSA 193-E:2-a, V(b) to read as follows:
(b) The state board of education shall adopt rules, pursuant to RSA 541-A, [relative to the approval of alternative programs for granting credit leading to graduation] that establish a process for the application, vetting, and approval of vendors offering alternative, extended learning, and work-based programs which may be accepted by the local school board for credit leading to graduation in any school district in this state. Nothing in this subparagraph shall prevent a local school district from approving vendors offering credit for alternative, extended learning, or work-based programs which do not appear on the pre-approved list maintained by the state board.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
