STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen
AN ACT relative to the definition and use of toy smoke devices.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Toy Smoke Device; Exemption from Prohibition on the Sale or Use of Smoke Bombs. Amend RSA 644:16-b, I to read as follows:
I. In this section, "smoke bomb'' means any kind of device containing chemicals which when ignited gives off dense clouds of smoke; provided that this definition shall not include a toy smoke device, as defined by the American Pyrotechnics Association in APA Standard 87-1 (2001), section 3.1.1.7.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2018.
